About Me
Hello! My name is Talia Conn and I’m a third-year here at UC Davis. I grew up in SLO County where I decided to explore my artistic abilities beyond traditional painting by pursuing photography. At Davis, I have taken some photography education and I plan to take more in the future. In the meantime, I have experimented with my camera and taken online courses to learn about photography and editing. I am particularly interested in portrait photography because I can enjoy interacting with people and capturing their special moments.

In the summer of 2023, I decided to start a photography business—which made perfect sense, considering I had never touched a camera and had zero prior interest in photography. With my mom’s permission, I borrowed her camera and got to work. I spent hours watching YouTube tutorials and practiced taking photos of my cousin (love you, Liora!). Since then, I’ve grown infinitely more comfortable with my camera, posing, and editing. I’m so grateful to now own my very own camera, and to all the friends and family who have supported me every step of the way.
